About Dr. Gustavo Pizani

A Gynecologist who graduated in Belo Horizonte from Hospital Vila da Serra, he completed his subspecialization in Gynecological Surgery at Hospital da Baleia and furthered his surgical training in France at the Franco-European Institute of Endometriosis (IFEMENDO). He also studied in Italy, taking courses in deep pelvic anatomy at the International School of Surgical Anatomy, and in Egypt through the Egyptian Society for Minimally Invasive Surgery. He had the opportunity to be a student of renowned names in gynecological surgery, such as Dr. Horace Roman, Dr. Marcello Ceccaroni, and Dr. Waleed Tawfik.

He actively participates in the main Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery events held worldwide. He is a member of the European Endometriosis League (EEL) and the Brazilian Society of Videolaparoscopic Surgery (SOBRACIL).
He completed his international certification for robotic surgery through Intuitive Surgical and Strattner.

Associated with leading surgeons active in Endometriosis, he founded OC Endometriose in Belo Horizonte, which is responsible for providing specialized care to patients with endometriosis.

Dr. Gustavo Pizani has been immersed in women’s health since childhood, as his father is a Gynecologist and his mother is a Nurse. His career was encouraged toward the gynecological surgical field from the beginning of his medical education, and he has been dedicated to this subspecialty for 8 years.

Through his knowledge and empathy, he seeks to alleviate discomfort and suffering in the face of the unknown so that his patients can navigate a smoother path during the most appropriate treatment, always based on scientific evidence and international guidelines.
